Christmas present for the Beaumond House Advent Calendar

Back To Life Clinic's 'Christmas Present' for the Beaumond House Christmas 2020 Advent Calendar

As well as supporting Beaumond House throughout 2020 we are raising more funds throughout December by taking part in the Beaumond House Advent Calendar campaign. To raise funds we will be donating £5 for every client who attends their appointment in a Xmas jumper in December!

As part of the Advent Calendar we also said we would provide a free present to everyone by taking you through some simple stretches to alleviate some common Christmas time related issues. In this video we take you through some easy neck stretches to help alleviate neck stiffness and related headaches (cervicogenic headaches), as well as upper back stiffness.

If you'd like to help us to raise more money for Beaumond House and our other charity of the year (ShawMind), then please book your appointment today.

How to set up your work desk when working from home

10 Top Tips to achieve the perfect work desk setup when working from home

This video takes you through 10 practical easy-to-follow tips that I use myself - and in the Back to Life Clinic with my patients - to help create a perfect work desk setup in your own home. Simply follow these steps to create the perfect work desk setup so that you can have a healthy and pain free back and neck whilst working from home.

The 10 tips cover topics such as your chair, desk and screen heights, how to create a chair that supports you like a proper office chair, whether to sit or stand, along with advice on how to think about and change your posture to enable you to work all day pain free. In the video I recommend some stretches to help counter the typical issues that build up because of sitting for hours at a desk.
