How to set up your work desk when working from home
10 Top Tips to achieve the perfect work desk setup when working from home
This video takes you through 10 practical easy-to-follow tips that I use myself - and in the Back to Life Clinic with my patients - to help create a perfect work desk setup in your own home. Simply follow these steps to create the perfect work desk setup so that you can have a healthy and pain free back and neck whilst working from home.
The 10 tips cover topics such as your chair, desk and screen heights, how to create a chair that supports you like a proper office chair, whether to sit or stand, along with advice on how to think about and change your posture to enable you to work all day pain free. In the video I recommend some stretches to help counter the typical issues that build up because of sitting for hours at a desk. The links to videos of these stretches can be found here:
All patients will be asked to complete an online Covid-19 screening questionnaire prior to any appointment - this will help identify anyone who shouldn't be coming in to the clinic and who may benefit more appropriately from our online telehealth sessions
On attending the clinic we would ask you to minimise time in reception by arriving no more than 5 minutes before your appointment time, wear a face mask inside the building and sanitise your hands when entering the clinic room - at which point your temperature will be taken by Ian
Ian will be wearing full PPE including: face mask, visor, gloves and apron
The clinic room itself will be fully cleaned and disinfected before and after every patient and the room is aerated to enable an exchange of air between patients. This additional cleaning and aerating time means that a 30min appointment now takes 60mins of clinic time (halving our capacity).
To help minimise contact - online telehealth sessions are still available (and this will be used for the first appointment for all new patients), as are touchless payments - either via the online pre-pay option or in clinic (on request by splitting amounts)
